Nothing on this screen can be changed by mistake

There is nothing to fill in and nothing to save. It only shows you what the other screens already recorded. You can look at every part of it freely.

Who does what

StorageManager

The Storage operator and the Manager both see Occupancy in the side menu, and both see exactly the same figures. There is only one button anywhere on these screens — Set as majority — and it does not appear for most chambers.

The CA tab

One white box for every CA chamber in the store. The page opens on this tab by itself.

Every box is white — only the small pill has a colour

Do not look at the box itself for the answer. All the boxes are the same plain white, always. The state is carried only by the little coloured pill in the top-right corner of the box.

“Open” means two opposite things at once

Open can mean the chamber is filling up at the start of the season. It can also mean the chamber was sealed, then broken open, and is now being emptied. The computer cannot tell these two apart, and neither can this screen. To know which one it is, look at Out: if Out is more than 0, fruit has already started leaving.

Read the percentage as “how full it is today”

The percentage is not the whole season's total. It is worked out from Balance — what is inside at this moment. A chamber that took in 3000 crates and sent out 2900 is nearly empty, and the percentage will say so.

A red percentage over 100% is a real warning

If the percentage is written in red and is above 100% full, more fruit has been placed in that chamber than it is supposed to hold. Either someone typed a wrong count at Allocation, or the chamber's size was set too small. Tell the Manager — do not ignore it.

What “capacity not configured” really means

It does not mean the chamber is broken, or full, or empty. It only means nobody has yet told the computer how many crates this chamber holds — so it cannot work out a percentage. The In, Out and Balance numbers on that box are still correct and can be trusted. Only the Manager can set the size, on the Setup screen.

Two more things may be on a box. First in is the date the first fruit went in. On an Empty chamber this line changes to First out instead. A grey Mixed produce chip means more than one kind of produce is in that chamber.

The CS tab

CS ٹیب

Tap CS and the boxes disappear. In their place is a plain table with four columns: Space, Grower, Lot No and Unit / Qty. There are no pills, no percentages and no capacity here at all.

The screen explains why itself: “Listed separately from chamber occupancy — free-text spaces (hallways, pathways) have no capacity figure.” In plain words: a hallway has no fixed size, so the computer cannot say how full it is.

The two tabs go to two different places when you tap

On the CA tab, tapping a chamber box opens that chamber. On the CS tab, tapping a row opens that one lot's own page — a completely different screen. Nothing on the screen warns you about this. If you suddenly find yourself looking at a single lot, you tapped the CS tab. Go back.

Inside one chamber

Tap a chamber box on the CA tab and its own page opens. This page is not in the side menu — the only way in is by tapping a box.

The long code under the chamber name is not for you

Under the chamber's name sits a very long code of letters, numbers and dashes. That is the computer's own private number for the chamber. It is not a lot number, not an agreement number, and not anything you ever write on paper. Ignore it — unless the office asks you to read it out for support.

“FIFO” is not explained anywhere on the screen

The first column of the Inward log is headed FIFO and shows a number. It means first in, first out — the order the fruit arrived. Number 1 came in first, so it should normally go out first. Nothing on the screen tells you this.

The majority holder

مین کاشتکار (majority)

One grower in a chamber is the majority holder — the main party for that chamber. Every other grower there is minority. On the grower cards this is shown as a small chip next to the name: an amber-gold majority chip, or a plain grey minority chip.

ایک چیمبر میں ایک کاشتکار majority ہوتا ہے — یعنی اُس چیمبر کا مرکزی فریق۔ باقی سب minority ہوتے ہیں۔ کاشتکار کے کارڈ پر یہ نام کے ساتھ ایک چھوٹے نشان سے دکھایا جاتا ہے: سنہری majority کا نشان، یا سادہ گرے minority کا نشان۔

Only the small chip is coloured — not the card

The majority holder's card looks exactly like every other card: same white, same size, same place. Only the tiny majority chip beside the name is gold. Look for the chip, not for a highlighted card.

A Set as majority button appears on a card only when all of these are true: that grower is currently minority, he has an agreement on this chamber, and the store's own settings allow the change on this chamber. On most chambers you will never see this button. That is correct.

Do not press Set as majority on your own

Pressing it takes the majority away from the grower who has it now and gives it to another one. That changes who the store deals with for the whole chamber. This is an office decision, not a floor decision. Ask the Manager first, every time.

If the screen shows red writing

Because nothing here is saved, red writing is rare. When it comes, it is one of these. Messages beginning growers: only come from the Set as majority button.

If a figure looks wrong, the mistake is not on this screen

Occupancy only adds up what Allocation and Clearing already recorded. A wrong figure here means a wrong entry there. Take the chamber name and the lot number to the Manager — do not try to correct anything from this page.
