The operating system for CA cold storage

Every crate, every rupee, one system.

Cryova runs a CA cold store's full season — grower agreements through grading, dispatch, and the ledger — in the vocabulary your store already uses, not a generic ERP's translation of it.

Every step, one system — agreement to final payout Built to keep your records safe, season after season Every action recorded — nothing changed quietly
Why we built this

Not a retrofit. Every other option asks you to adapt — Cryova adapts to you.

Most cold stores have already tried spreadsheets, generic ERPs, or software built for some other industry entirely — and ended up back on register books and phone calls, because none of it matched how a season actually runs or spoke the store's own language. Cryova is built specifically for Controlled-Atmosphere cold stores, not adapted from something else: every gate-in, every chamber placement, every rupee of the grower ledger, recorded once, by the person who did it, at the moment it happened.

How we build it

Principles, not just features

These aren't marketing lines — they're the constraints every module is designed against before a line of code is written.

DOMAIN

Speaks your store's language

Builty, Khata, Paltai, GR ID, Petti — Cryova uses the vocabulary your staff already use, not a generic ERP's translation of it.

AUDIT

Every action, audited

A toggle, a rate change, a grower payout — every mutation is logged with who did it and exactly what changed. Nothing is quietly overwritten.

STORAGE

Chamber-level precision

Lots are placed, locked, and grid-addressed inside each chamber — not just “somewhere in Chamber 4.”

GOVERNANCE

Governed by policy, not hardcoded roles

Who can approve what is a data-driven policy your store's admin controls — not a rule buried in code that needs a redeploy to change.

TENANCY

One store's data, sealed from every other's

Cryova is multi-tenant by construction. Row-level isolation means one store's ledger is architecturally invisible to another's — not just hidden by a login screen.

DISCIPLINE

Engineered before it's coded

Every module goes through a written spec and design review before a line of code — the discipline of an engineering team, not a weekend build.

The season, end to end

One system, from agreement to dispatch

Each stage hands the next one clean data — nothing is re-entered, nothing is retyped from a slip of paper.

Agreement

Grower signs on, chambers and rates locked in for the season.

Crate issue

Numbered CRN receipts, a running issued / returned / damaged ledger.

Gate-in & weighbridge

Sampled-kg basis captured from the first entry, not estimated later.

QC & GRN

Quality sampling and grading before a single crate reaches a chamber.

Chamber storage

Locked placement, grid-addressed, seal-break tracked.

Grading & packing

Sizing and packing draw packing-material inventory down automatically.

Dispatch

Outward challan — stock and ledger update together, same transaction.

Billing & ledger

Storage rent, dues, receipts — auto-reversing if a source entry changes.

How we're different

Most systems record your season. Cryova helps you run it.

The difference isn't a longer feature list — it's what the software does for the person standing at the dock at six in the morning.

Cold stores that have gone digital usually end up with a data-entry tool: the same grower and lot details typed again at the gate, at the dock, and once more at billing; a wrong weight or count that surfaces only at settlement, when it has already become a dispute; rent and crate hire totalled by hand on a calculator; and nothing but a local file standing between a season's records and losing them. Every one of those is a system that records what happened, rather than helping the work happen.

In the age of intelligence, why settle for a system that only remembers?

Ordinary systems Cryova
Type everything, everywhere Capture only the new details at each stage
Errors surface late, at settlement Mistakes caught as they are entered
One generic screen for everyone A role-specific dashboard for each station
No disaster recovery Periodic backups — a season is never lost
Locked to one computer in the office Works on PC, laptop, tablet or phone

A smart card for every role

Each person opens Cryova to exactly what their job needs — the surrounding facts pulled in automatically, nothing to hunt for.

GATE

Gate operator

The grower's agreement and crate balance are on screen before the truck is unloaded.

DOCK

Dock operator

A grower and lot info-card appears automatically, so only what is genuinely new gets captured.

STORAGE

Storage

Lots waiting for a chamber, alongside live chamber and bin occupancy.

SUPERVISOR

Supervisor & manager

One view of everything pending and everything waiting on an approval.

GRADING

Sorting & grading

The lots released for the day's clearing, with packing recorded against the grades actually produced.

FINANCE

Finance

Charges assembled from the agreement's own rates, and a grower ledger that is ready to settle.

What it means for your store

The compounding effect of capturing data once, correctly, at the moment it happens.

Faster operations

Staff capture only what is new, so a lot moves through each station in a fraction of the keystrokes.

Fewer disputes

Validated figures at the point of entry mean settlements that hold up to a grower's questions.

Real-time control

Every chamber, lot and pending task visible as it happens, not reconstructed at month end.

Grower trust

Itemised statements a grower can read and follow line by line.

Nothing lost

Periodic backups and recovery, so a season's record survives whatever the hardware does.

Room to grow

Analytics, accounting and connected hardware when the store is ready for them — not before.

Two tiers, one platform

Standard runs the store. Premium runs the business.

Every store picks its tier at signup — Standard or Premium — and Premium modules switch on or off per store anytime, without a redeploy.

Standard vs Premium feature comparison
Capability Standardcore operations Premiumruns the business
Season operations
Grower agreements & crate ledger
Gate-in, weighbridge, QC, GRN
Chamber storage, grid addressing
Grading, packing, dispatch
Packing-material inventory
Money & records
Rate cards & invoicing
Grower ledger & statements
Operational reporting
Full financial accounting & payroll
Beyond the season
Operating-cost & profitability analytics
Cross-season benchmarking

Row-level tenant isolation, the full audit trail, and policy-driven roles apply to every store on either tier — they're the platform, not an upsell.

Where this goes next

Post-harvest was the start, not the whole story

Cryova today runs the season from a grower's agreement to their final payout — the post-harvest half of a much longer story. Every crate in a chamber began with a grower's season before it, and a store never operates alone: growers, transporters, packers, buyers, and the store itself all depend on the same season. The roadmap treats that as one connected record, earlier and wider than post-harvest.

Earlier in the season

Pre-harvest

The same grower record that follows a lot into the chamber should follow the orchard through the season before it — input planning, spray and irrigation schedules, yield estimates tied to the same GR ID that already exists in the system.

Direct access

A grower's own portal

Right now, a grower's agreement, crate ledger, and storage status live in the store's system — not theirs. The vision is a grower logging in directly to see their own lot, their own ledger, without a phone call.

Past the gate

Supply chain, not just storage

A dispatch today ends at the gate. The vision extends it — connecting a store to transporters, FPOs, buyers, distributors, mandis, and the financial institutions that finance a season, so a dispatch record becomes a market-access record, not just a logistics one.

None of this replaces the discipline of the platform we've already built — it extends the same architecture, the same audit trail, the same tenant-by-tenant control, earlier into the season and further down the chain.
