A lot only reaches this screen after Dock Ops is finished with it. If a lot is not in the list, the dock still has work left on it — go back and finish that first.

Who does what

StorageManager

The Storage operator does the placing. The Manager can open the page and read it, but the Place button is not for him. Deleting a lot is the other way round — only the Manager.

Every button here looks alive — even the ones you cannot press

This screen does not grey out a button because of your job. All of them look ready. You only find out that a button was not yours after you press it, when red writing appears. That is normal here — it is not a fault.

The Chamber column and the Chamber filter do not work here

A lot in this list almost always shows — (assigned later) in the CHAMBER column, because the chamber is chosen later, inside the form. So filtering by Chamber here finds nothing, and the list goes empty. Use the Lot No box instead.

Your daily habit

Work from the top of the list downwards. The oldest lot is at the top — that fruit has been waiting longest, and fruit waiting outside the chamber loses quality every hour.

Opening a lot

Tapping a row opens a big box over the page. At the top is the grower's information — read it, but you cannot change it. Under it is one line saying which Agreement this lot belongs to, and one line saying the Unit mix — how many store crates, self crates and petti the dock counted.

The agreement chooses the path — not you

Two buttons exist in the software: CA Storage and Cold Storage (CS). Only one of them will be on your screen, and the computer already picked it from the grower's agreement. If you only see one button, nothing is missing — that is the only path this lot is allowed to take.

If the lot is on the wrong agreement, or the dock got something wrong, do not try to fix it here. Press Send back to Dock Ops, type a Reason, and press Confirm. Everything already entered stays — the dock reopens it, fixes it, and it comes back to you.

The CA Storage path

Chamber first, then Level. After that you tell the computer how the crates were actually stored.

Some fields are required but have NO red star

Level is required, and it has no star. The screen never tells you it is missing. The Place button simply stays grey and nothing happens when you press it. Same trap on the Cold Storage path with Cold Storage (CS) space, Qty and Bin.

If Place is grey, hunt for the empty box

Grey Place always means one required box is still empty — nothing else. Go back up the form and look at Level first, then the counts.

Paltai — crates into bins

Paltai (store in bins) is the section for crate-borne produce that gets loaded into the store's own bins. You tell it How many bins? and Crates into bins. A bin holds 17 crates unless the store set something else.

The computer makes the bins itself and gives each one its own code — the chamber's own name and a number, like CA-3/Bin-41. As soon as you press Place, the bin tags open by themselves on the screen, ready to print. One tag per bin.

One bin, one variety

If the lot has more than one variety, each variety gets its own bin rows. Never load two varieties into the same bin — the computer will refuse it and nothing will save.

“Row” and “Column” are just your own writing

The screen itself says “Your own tracking note — not a validated position.” The computer does not check these, does not use them for anything, and will not stop you writing nonsense. They are only there so you can find the fruit again. Write the same way every time.

The Cold Storage (CS) path

No chamber, no level. You simply write the name of the space where the fruit went.

One lot can go into several places. Press + Add another location for each extra space — Hallway 1, then Hallway 2, and so on. The red bin icon removes a row you added by mistake.

Split the count, don't repeat it

If 100 crates went 60 in one hallway and 40 in another, write 60 in the first row and 40 in the second. Do not write 100 twice — that is placing more than the lot has, and it will be blocked.

Too many, or too few

The screen adds up what you typed and compares it with the count the dock made. If the two do not agree, a coloured box appears.

Red	Placing more than the lot's own mix	You are stopped. Place stays grey. You cannot save at all. Count again and lower a number.
Yellow	Placing less than the lot's own mix	You may still save — but a box appears, Note — where is the rest?, with a red star. Write where the missing crates went. Then Place works.

Never invent a number to clear the red box

Red means your counts add up to more fruit than actually arrived. The answer is to recount, not to change a number until the red goes away. A wrong count here becomes a wrong bill for the grower at the end of the season.

The yellow note is permanent

What you type in Note — where is the rest? is saved forever against this lot, and the office reads it. Write a real reason — “3 crates held back for regrading” — not a dash or a full stop.

After you press Place

Place دبانے کے بعد

The form turns into a short green page saying Placed. If bins were made, the tag preview opens by itself, ready to print. Below that sit the buttons for the GRN and for any extra tags.

Print the bin tags before you close the box

The tags open on their own for a reason — an unlabelled bin in a sealed chamber is very hard to trace later. Print them, stick them, then press Back to queue. You can reprint later, but do it now.

Two screens, two names for the same thing

The CA path calls the destination a Chamber and a Level. The Cold Storage path calls it a Cold Storage (CS) space. The RECENT ALLOCATIONS table below simply calls both of them LOCATION. It is the same information, written three ways.

Undo or delete a placement

At the very bottom of the page. Search the lot number, pick the lot, then choose one of two buttons. Both need a written Reason.

Delete entirely is not an undo button

Delete entirely wipes the lot, its quality check and its gate entry off the computer permanently. There is no way back — not for you, not for the office, not for anyone. If you only put the fruit in the wrong place, the button you want is Undo placement. If you are unsure, stop and call the Manager.

Write a real Reason

The Reason is kept forever and the office reads it. Write what actually happened — “placed in Chamber 3 by mistake, fruit is in Chamber 5”. Your name and the time are saved next to it automatically.

If the screen shows red writing

The computer sometimes shows technical English, starting with the word storage:. That word is just the computer's own label — ignore it and read the rest.

When red writing appears, the computer stored nothing at all. Fix what it asks for and press the button again. You are not making a second copy.
